This bearing is located at the end of the 4759-6311 direct drive crank assembly. It rides on the end of the driveshaft and rests in the bearing housing spacer.
The action of this bearing is a axis load. It takes the pressure of the roof, easing lift. If the bearing is or has failed, the roof may be very difficult to raise.
Fixed the hard to lift top upon installation, The one that was there (2006 e2) was completely disintegrated from years of neglect. Rebuilt complete lift system (with Derick's help and guidance) and it now performs like a new camper. Thanks for quality parts and excellent video's .

Bearing worked great on the Fleetwood Evolution E1 trailer. The crank was not working, and all that was needed to fix it was a trust bearing. Will come back when future parts are needed due to the excellent service and availability of parts

Crank on the E3 has been getting harder over the past couple years. Decided to change out the thrust bearing. Although there aren’t really any good videos on changing it I did manage and now I can lift the pop up without even using the crank; so I made a drill-driven crank and it goes up/down way faster and easier. Should have done this way sooner.

And it came right away.
Unfortunately, I could not get the pin out of the whiffle tree connector. So couldn't install it myself.
Will find some help.
Replaced the bearing as recommended to help make it easier to crank up the top. Main problem turned out to be the grease on the wipple tree cover had jelled after 20 years. Cleaned and re-greased. Now it cranks up like new. Replaced the bearing anyway. It fit.
This thrust bearing was a perfect fit for my 2007 Fleetwood E3. I had a total bearing failure and was happy to catch it before it did any real damage to the Popup. It took about a 1/2 hour to replace the bearing once I watched a video. Make sure to cleanup and lube the whiffle-tree while you’re in there.
Their good supply of parts and assistance in getting the right bearing was very helpful in completing the repair. Plus the repair videos were a good aid in doing the repair properly.
The lift system failed on our 2007 Feetwood Graphite Popup, so I assessed the damage and ordered the parts I was told were needed to make the repair, which included the Thrust Bearing and a Acme Nut Whiffletree. Coleman Popup Parts delivered promptly as promised. The Thrust Bearing worked perfectly, but the Whiffletree wasn't needed, so returned it unscathed for a refund. I trust Coleman Popup Parts will come through on the refund just like they've done with everything else. I highly recommend them?
