Details
14' Kit. Comes with one 14' section and 4 hooks. Designed to service one bed. Perfect for units that have two sections of shock cord on the left and right side of the bunk, such as later grand tour and highlander models.
30' Kit. Comes with one 30' section and 4 hooks. Designed for units from 6 foot to 10 foot boxes. When installing this kit on both beds, install on the largest bed first, then the smaller.
40' Kit. This universal kit comes with two 20' sections and 4 hooks. Works on any unit no matter what the size.
The cord diameter of these products are a bit smaller than the original cord, making installation easier. The strength of the product is also equal or greater than the originals. Each kit is a bit longer than required for an easy installation.
A quick upgrade for "tired" canvas boot ends. The following video shows the installation of a universal kit.
We bought this item to re-wind the elastic on our 1996 Coleman Laredo. After watching the how-to video, we felt confident we could tackle this project on our own (the still fishing wire and electrical tape was a great tip!). With two sets of hands, we replaced the elastic on both sides in less than 30 minutes. We were immediately impressed at how well the project works and how easy it was to use. For the first time in a very long time, our camper's canvas sides are actually taut around the slide-outs. We highly recommend this product.

Pretty sure existing shock cord was original to our new to us 1998 Coleman Taos. This kit was what I was looking for. You Tube video was helpful in installing. In fact removing old bungee was more difficult than installing new one. Bunk ends are now snug and look much better.

Exactly what we needed! Very good quality.. easy to install.. instead of pulling the old one out and threading a new one in ... After cutting off the hook and clipping it so it does not slide back in... We took a couple inches from the new and a couple inches from the old taped with sticky black tape and just pulled it through..... Worked fantastic!!! The canvas looked great from the start. I learned that my old canvas was stretch out alot. It was not an easy task to get the new canvas on but we got it there and it looks great. I am looking for flaws and tears in the other parts so I have an excuse to switch those out too. Really like the three layer window also.

The front cord that secures the canvas cover under the frame had frayed and broken. Threaded the new shock cord back through the grommets,, good as new.

Was EXACTLY what I needed and plenty of it! I was able to use the left over to make bungees to hold my solar tarps up on my pop up bunks! I just got some extra bungee end hooks off Amazon to use the rest of the smaller bungees I made. Also just ordered a water inlet replacement for my pop up. It’s nice to know I can get the exact part I need for my Coleman pop up here and the prices are just right. Not crazy expensive!

The new shock cord, after its installation and tension setting ( it was in place and used to strap the topper's top in place for a couple weeks ), had stretched out so much that is literally hung loose at several hook areas.
I am going to tighten it again, shorten it, and trust this is all that is needed.
The old cord, after 20+ years of use, is still is VERY elastic and is appropriately snug when hooked under the beds. One end had simply frayed and broken free after 20+ years so I decided to just replace the cord of both ends.
Not sure this was the best move.... Hope my shortening does the trick and it's not the cord's overall elasticity. All of the other reviews are so good, I'm crossing my fingers.
