Quality through and through. Pretty much a sealed pulley bearing. I needed the needle bearing pulleys for the ones that wrote the cables to the whiffle tree along with the longer pins.
I was thankful to find this part for our 1999 Coleman pop up camper. It was getting really difficult to raise the roof as the bearings on the underside of the trailer were seizing up. Fortunately my girlfriend's son is a mechanic who works on RVs and was able to install them for us. Raising the roof is much easier now and lowering it is as smooth as butter.
I wanted to thank Derek Smith for his prompt and very friendly customer service as well.
Thanks for your help. And the information for removal of lift cables lengths and orientation the videos, got my 1986 Colman Tara back in good shape for this summer outings
Very easy to install, Made a world of difference of cable operation.
Installation is easy if you do it right! lift the the top about 12" support the top wood blocks work great! reverse the lift (lower) a couple turns after seating, Lift Cable will be loose on the underside.
Buy New Cotter Pins!!!!!!! There cheap! Pull the old cotter out and Throw it away push center pin out, Slide old bearing out, Slide in new bearing in install Center pin and Cotter pin. Spray (All Bearings) with white lithium grease, Raise roof and your ready to go!
I ordered all new pins, pulleys, cable and retainer brackets for my 1988 coleman plantation pop-up
camper and repaired all four lift assembles and everything fit vary good.
Rebuilt the lift system on my Coleman Bayside. Watched all the videos (very helpful),ordered cables, pulleys, pins and clips. For around $150 and a few days work, I probably saved $500-$700 if I would have had to pay someone to do it! Very happy!
