Plastic Awning Rail
Plastic track to hang bag awnings. This is one of the most common original Coleman Fleetwood awning tracks.
The track is cut into two pieces to allow it to ship UPS and USPS. We recommend that you use a miter saw to cut a 45 degree angle on both pieces where you plan to join them together.
- Super glue or an industrial adhesive is recommended to join the cuts.
- Industrial adhesive designed for plastics such as Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive Ultimate is recommended for installation.
How install a new awning rail on a Coleman Popup coated in Grizzly Grip
The inside of the track has a 3/8 of an inch opening.
Measures a total of 15 feet in length.

I used a oscillating tool to remove a portion of the original plastic rail. Made a flat mounting surface . Used #8 , 1/2” pan head SS sheet screws and backed with clear gorilla glue to adhere/ mount. Had to join two pieces so kept aligned by inserting 12 inches of 3/8” threaded Rod into canopy slot while mounting. Happy with the results and the great help Derek and the team provided.
