Thrust Bearing B2421
In model year 1999 this new thrust bearing was introduced into production. It directly replaced the 3000 series thrust bearing, and was installed on all model years with chain driven lift systems from 1999 till the end of production.
It's different from the 3000 series that this one is not directional. It does not matter in which direction the bearing is installed onto the thrust nut. It is also a completely sealed bearing. You can replace a 3000 series bearing with this version.
The action of this bearing is a axis load. It takes the pressure of the roof, easing lift. If the bearing is or has failed, the roof may be very difficult to raise.
Measurements are 1-7/8" wide, 5/8" tall, 1" center.
