Popular on 1990's Destiny Series Trailers. This crank system for Coleman and Fleetwood pop ups is found on units with lower direct drive lift systems. This crank is always found at the rear bumper, through the center.
Mounting bracket measures 6-1/2 inches across to the centers of the 4 outer bracket mounting holes.
Inner mounting bracket measures 2-7/8 inches to the centers of the mounting holes.
Drive hub extension measures 6 inches in length as measured from the mounting plate.
Overall length of the assembly is 9-3/4 inches.
Installation tip : Take note of the direction of the thrust bearing installed in this system. The thrust bearing needs to face in the proper direction for the system to operate correctly. If the bearing is installed backwards, the system will be difficult to crank. The proper installation has the open / smaller surface of the bearing facing against the base of the thrust nut. This allows it to spin freely when the system is compressed.

I debated buying parts v. the entire assembly, but am very pleased to start fresh with everything on our 2006 Sea Pine. Installation was fairly straightforward, just be sure to watch the video to get the order and position of the parts right. It is such a pleasure to turn the crank handle with ease and hear that secure clicking sound. Well worth the cost.

We had some trouble with our 98 westlake crank assembly. We replaced it with excellent help from Derek Smith-- ( he actualy answers the phone !!!) . We had to replace the wiffletree also and it all works like NEW !

We were in a pinch and needed a new crank assembly for a '96 Coleman Fleetwood popup. Our shop found the part for us and we ordered it on a Friday. We had a family camping trip planned for the following weekend and didn't think there was even a chance that we'd make it. After ordering, my wife called to see if the was any expedited shipping that we could pay for. Without hesitation, we were told they'd put it in the mail that day for us. We received the part the following Monday and were able to get it to the shop and our popup repaired with enough time to pack for the weekend. I can't say how much I appreciate the family oriented customer service we received. Would recommend to anyone looking for parts for their camper. Thanks again guys.
I was recommended to your sight by a service tech at Apache RV in Everett, WA. I now have your site on my favorites. It was nice to call a company that had an actual voice answer the phone and after just a couple of rings! I was transferred to your parts department and that phone was picked up quickly and a very helpful person answered. She was able to provide me the part number I was looking for. That enable me to look at it on your website. The next day I called to order it and Derek picked up the phone. He was extremely helpful. This was on Friday and with the time difference he didn't know if he could get it out that day but he said he check to see if the pickup had gone out and if not he would get put on. I got it on that Monday! Great service and knowledgeable staff! One very minor complaint-the self tapping screws for the cover plates were way too small. But that was easily resolved.
