The original piece was solid. This one is hollow with a brace in the middle but is exactly the same size and installed perfectly. Since the original ones had a habit of splitting where the screw went through it, we will see how this one holds up
This part is an adequate replacement for the original part. While the original part was made from a solid piece of nylon, this replacement is a hollow extrusion molded part. It no doubt won't last as long, so now it's just a matter of how long it will last. It will meet my needs as I don't use the camper that often. Having said that, I was very happy to get this and glad that you carry this part. Thanks!
