The piece doesn’t even fit the other Coleman part in our pop up camper that it’s specifically made for. The metal piece does not go down far enough to match up the screw holes. Not everyone has a tool to shave down metal to make it fit. If this was the case, you guys should have advertised that it doesn’t fit certain years or models. Absolutely ridiculous.

I ordered two of them, so I’d have an extra. One duck bill didn’t fit (the holes weren’t in the exact right place). I emailed you for a replacement part, but received no response.
The duck bill part that did fit was perfect and was exactly what I needed.
It’s great to know I can get just the parts I need for my older pop-up!!

Unfortunately the material is so heavy, yes durable but puts unnecessary pressure on the bracket on the ceiling that holds the pole up. Could I exchange for a simple plastic one? You have the mold so shouldn't be too much hard? Help!

The duck bill tip does not fit the tent pole. Spoke with customer service and they have agreed there is a manufacturer defect. Sent me out a replacement plastic duck bill to rectify the issue. Happy with the customer service received

The metal end is the same size on the outside, but has less length on the inside. To get the screw holes to line up, the end of the pole must be ground off at an angle to match the inside of the new end. Once that's done, the screws go in just fine. The end itself is well made and works good.

The holes did not line up exactly but worked fine after a little adjusting! I am happy to have found this hard-to-find (and, from what we have been told, obsolete) part. Thanks!

Great replacement part ! Made out of metal instead of plastic like the original the new parts were a great upgrade !!! Glad I replaced both of the old parts instead of just replacing the one I broke. Very Happy Camper !!!!

It will work well and not break like the plastic one.
The pre-cut holes did not match up with my existing shepherd's staff pole's holes.
I used a metal file to sand down the end of the shepherd's staff pole until the pole's holes matched the holes on the part.
