The roof seal installs into a channel inside, or on the bottom of the roof. Coleman and Fleetwood pop ups with metal, or two piece roofs always use this seal.

This is the latest Coleman and Fleetwood design. Your original seal may have two fins on the bottom. This seal replaces that old style. Here is an image example of the old style.

Here are examples of this seal installed on a later model Niagara.

Sold per foot. Please enter your required feet as this items quantity.

Here is some information to assist you in determining exactly which roof your pop up has.

What is the material that your roof is made of?

  • ABS plastic. This roof is one piece, having rounded sides and corners. The roof seal attaches directly to the bottom of this roof.

  • Metal. These roofs are sectioned in pieces, and have corner caps on all 4 corners. The roof seal installs into a channel inside, or on the bottom of the roof. It is cut into 4 pieces with 45 degree corners.

    Installation :

This seal presses into the channel inside the roofs lower edge. The lip of the seal faces inwards on some models. It's been some customers experience that this seal works best when installed with the lip facing outwards or down, especially at the front and the read of the roof. Some roofs that require this seal are easier to install than others. The proper tools and materials will make this installation a breeze.

    • A small rubber mallet
    • Spray silicone
    • Non marring vehicle body / dash tools
    • A heat gun

Cut one end of the seal to a 45 degree angle. Start this cut end at an appropriate corner. Spray the insert lip of the seal with a small amount of silicone, and press the seal into the track. Some installations are done without this 45 degree cut. Overlapping the ends is acceptable as well.

If the seal is stubborn to press in, then the rubber mallet and non marring tools will come in handy.

If the installation is still giving you more of a workout than expected, apply a small amount of heat with the heat gun to the lip area of the seal. Careful not to overdo it, just a few seconds of heat is all that is required.
